Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has described the death of female dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns as an “Act of God”.
According to him, the death of Ebony was her destiny, adding that no one could have prevented the death on that fateful day.
“I listened to her manager yesterday saying that her death was prophesied and even some prophets predicted it. The issue is that we will all one day die and so I see her death as her destiny and act of God but it’s very painful” he said.
He continued that “even the Bible talks about death and I think it was ordained to happen in fulfillment of the coming of Christ and his resurrection”, he added.
Ebony Reigns met her untimely death in a gruesome car accident at Mankranso in the Ashanti Region on Thursday, February 8, 2018.
She died together with two others, Franky Kuri who is a female friend and a military man serving as her bodyguard.
There have been a lot of controversies surrounding her death as some pastors and prophets have become forensic auditors all of a sudden.
But reacting to the issue, the outspoken MP believes that every individual will die no matter what, so he does not fear death.
According to him, he could not fathom why the so called men of God who predicted the death of the singer did nothing about it to averse the calamity.
