Rapper Edem continues his steady streak of single releases ahead of his forthcoming album, TAA (The African Answer).
The past few months have seen the VRMG boss publish permeating records as Mighty Jesus, Fie Fuor, and Love Me. Released today, May 2, his new single, “Power”, features dancehall singer, Stonebwoy.
Both natives of the Volta Region of Ghana, Edem and Stonebwoy have constantly collaborated in the past, offering such songs as Go Harder (2013), Above the Sky (2016), and Pepper Dem (2016). Power is produced by MixMasta Garzy.
A multiple-award-wining act born Denning Edem Hotor, the recording artist, since his 2009 break out, has remained highly-admired in Ghanaian music circles and beyond. He is author of critically received albums as Volta Regime, Mass Production, and Books and Rhymes, as well as numerous singles including Ghetto Arise, Heyba, Bougez, Bra Fremi Fremi, Nyedzilo, Kpordawoe, The One, Koene, Wicked and Bad, Gogaga among others.
